JAPANESE SLATE

Tokyo Harajuku

Shogunate

The record success of the Shogun shows the great interest in Samurai themed cinema and we are producing the most well researched and authentic projects on Samurai culture featuring all real Samurai objects, weapons, costumes and treasures used in battle. We also have our office in Tokyo's most coveted location and we film across Japan from Kyoto and Kamakura to Shibuya to Harajuku. Furthermore, from CDG to Issey Miyake, Japanese fashion and aesthetics have long been coveted across the world and we represent this cutting edge fashion scene as well. Moreover, Japanese Manga is a globally sought-after phenomenon and we go back to the source via our collection of original Manga masterworks including by Japan's greatest artist Hokusai — the godfather and founder of Manga.

IN DEVELOPMENT

Active Slate

We are producing the most detailed and researched projects on the most important Samurai heroes including Tokugawa Ieyasu (subject of the Shogun series) and Takeda Shingen (subject of the famous film by Kurosawa called Kagemusha) with support of their families and clans and featuring their own actual objects, weapons, treasures and artworks. We are also developing projects on the Harajuku fashion scene as well as Masterworks by Manga founder and Japan's greatest artist Hokusai.

Shogunate of the Tokugawa

Takeda Shingen

Shibuya to Harajuku

We are filming a project that will show sides of Tokugawa Ieyasu and the Shogunate that have never been captured or conveyed on film before.

A whole new way of looking at Takeda Shingen - the Tiger of Kai and one of the most important Samurai even portrayed by Akira Kurosawa in "Kagemusha".

We are filming a project that will be a stunning homage to the fashion of Japan from gold-threaded works by Kyoto artisans to the super cool futuristic designs of Harajuku & Shibuya.
