6PAC is the nickname of Actor-Director SØHØ due to his washboard abs and it became an acrynym for 6-Pan Asian Cinema as the only film company to link Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, India and North America. SØHØ is also Asia's 1st Director-Designer (SØHØ.jp) and brings a lot of Asian legends and themes to life from the SØHØ Museum which houses one of the world's top private collections of Asian Art and treasures (SØHØMuseum.jp). With a presence in the most prestigious neighborhoods of Asia - from Gangnam to Harajuku, SØHØ is the only Western-born filmmaker & fashion afficianado from the cinematic lineage of one of history's greatest filmmakers Satyajit Ray (lauded by the likes of Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorcese & Akira Kurosawa). Mentored by Ray's favorite actor and star of 14 films by Satyajit Ray — the French Legion winning Soumitra Chatterjee, the 5 time Grammy winning composer of one of history's greatest films "Apu Trilogy" Ravi Shankar, as well as by Ray's biographer and Master of Composition for 25 years Nemai Ghosh, SØHØ uniquely mirrors the multificeted filmmaking style of Satyajit Ray by being able to perform all major tasks himself and by casting the award-winning paraplegic MJ Baek to represent Neorealism. Similarly, SØHØ is inspired by the favorite filmmaker of Spielberg, Lucas and Scorsese Akira Kurosawa who has a special connection to the SØHØ Museum which is why SØHØ also uses the themes of Bushido, Samurai Buddhism and color-matched cinematography seen in the masterpiece Ran. SØHØ has also worked with the the Action Director of the legendary John Woo whose movies Hard-Boiled, Face Off, MI2 and A Better Tomorrow are among the most poetic and impactful films of the genre. SØHØ is using his diverse influences to promote Asian representation on the world stage with a host of projects in development on Asian themes that are the most popular in powerhouse nations of Korea, Japan, China and Hong Kong with a historic connection to India as well as SØHØ's homeland of Canada which is the world's most multicultural nation with a strong Asian Diaspora.
